SAMPLE ITINERARY

DAY 01/01/01 TELUPID → DERAMAKOT

1400 hrs – Adventure Begins
Meet your guide at 77 Restaurant, Telupid (just 150 meters from the bus stop). From here, your journey into the wild begins with a 4–5 hour transfer to Deramakot Forest Reserve along a rugged jungle track. Evening – Check-in to a twin-sharing/double room with attached bathroom. Dinner at the lodge.

1900 – 2200 hrs – 3-hour Night Safari
Search for nocturnal animals such as Clouded Leopards, Civets, Owls, and Slow Lorises.
Overnight stay in Deramakot.

DAY 02/02&03/02&03&04 FULL-DAY SAFARI IN DERAMAKOT

0700 hrs – Breakfast at the lodge

0730 – 1030 hrs – 3-hour Morning Safari
Target species: Orangutans, Gibbons, Hornbills, and more

1200 hrs – Lunch & rest

1600 – 1800 hrs – 2-hour Afternoon Safari
Focus: Birds, primates, Pygmy Elephants and other forest floor wildlife

1900 – 2200 hrs – 3-hour Night Safari
Search for nocturnal animals such as Clouded Leopards, Civets, Owls, and Slow Lorises. Dinner will be served either before or after depending on wildlife sightings.

During Safari Bring along:
Rain jacket, headlamp, refillable water bottle, binoculars, insect repellent, camera.

What to Wear:
Earth-toned long pants, short-sleeve shirt, hiking shoes.

DAY 03/04/05 DERAMAKOT → TELUPID

0500 hrs – Early check-out and transfer to Telupid to catch connecting bus to your next destination. Catch the transition from night to dawn—driver will stop along the way if there is a wildlife

0930 – 1000 hrs – Arrival at Telupid
Breakfast stop and drop-off at Telupid bus stop for onward travel
