SAMPLE ITINERARY

3D2N

Day 1: Sandakan – Lankayan Island

Meet and greet at Sandakan, followed by a land transfer to the PSR Jetty (approximately 30 minutes). From the jetty, proceed by speedboat to Lankayan Island, with an estimated journey time of 90 minutes.

Upon arrival, check in at Lankayan Island Dive Resort. Free time to relax and enjoy the island surroundings.

Meals: Lunch & Dinner

Day 2: Lankayan Island – Diving & Leisure

For Divers: Enjoy up to 3 boat dives per day, along with unlimited unguided house reef dives located directly in front of the Lankayan Dive Centre. Divers are required to arrange their own dive buddy. Please note the strict no-fly policy within 24 hours after the final dive.
For Non-Divers: Free at leisure throughout the day. Optional activities include swimming, snorkeling, and ocean kayaking.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 3: Lankayan Island – Sandakan (Departure)

After breakfast, check out from the resort. Transfer by speedboat back to the jetty, followed by an overland transfer to Sandakan Airport for onward departure.

Transfer from hotel / Sandakan Airport (flight arrival before 09:00 am only) to Sandakan PSR Jetty and return i.e. on arrival and departure day only.
Transfer by boat from Sandakan PSR Jetty to Lankayan resort and return (SIC basis).
Accommodation at Lankayan Island Dive Resort on twin sharing basis.
Fresh Meals – breakfast/lunch/dinner.
Afternoon snacks – served at the restaurant daily.
Tea / coffee, cold water and cordial – served throughout the day at the restaurant daily.
Snorkel around the resort – from the shore or Lankayan Dive Centre.
Service Tax 8%.
SIMCA Conservation Fee.

For diver package only:

3 guided boat dives daily – except on arrival & departure day.
Tank, weights and weight belt are provided.
Unlimited house reef dives in front of Lankayan Dive Centre. Unlimited house reef dives and
night dives are unguided dive and must be accompanied by buddy.

The Malaysian Tourism and Culture Ministry will establish a Malaysian Tourism Tax beginning September 1, 2017. (TTX). Foreign visitors will be charged a fixed cost of MYR 10 per room per night, regardless of the hotel’s star rating. The TTx must be paid at the time of check-in. Malaysians or permanent residents living in Malaysia are exempt from TTx, but must provide a valid identity card upon check-in to qualify.
