We are highly impressed by the care and professional service provided by Remarkable Borneo.. We booked a 3D2N tour to climb Mount Kinabalu..The group consisted of people with age ranging from 16 to 82 years. Remarkable Borneo provided 2 guides to cater for the different speeds of climbing. A lot of things happened to the group. At about 3000 metres, one member suffered from altitude sickness and had to move to a lower level. One guide immediately accompanied him with his companion to a lower ground and arranged accommodation and meals at Kinabalu Park. The 82 years old was climbing at a very slow rate and took 8 hours to reach 3272.7 metres where climbers spent the night before the final assault to the summit the next day. The guide was very patient and let him climb at his own speed. During the night another member felt unwell due to certain stomach bug. The next day this member was very weak and could not move. The guide, Peter, immediately arranged for him to be carried down all the way to the base camp and accompanied him on the way down. The other guide, Luke, came up all the way from Kinabalu Park to accompany the 82 years old to move down slowly. At the end of the day everyone was happily reunited at the base camp where a private transport was awaiting to take them back to their hotel in Kota Kinabalu. We felt we were very well looked after, especially the guides Luke and Peter. We would not hesitate to recommend Remarkable Borneo to anyone.

We booked Remarkable Borneo to climb Mt. Kinabalu in June 2024. We were 7 ladies total and it all went very smoothly. From the airport to retuning to the city, everything was arranged amazingly. We had 2 guides and they were very helpful and flexible.If I go back, or need to recommend, I wouldn't hesitate to mention remarkable borneo again.

What an adventure! It was an amazing trip and very well organized. We didn’t have to think about anything and Didi was the perfect guide! Would highly recommend this tour (3D2N) 🙂

Booked a 3D2N tour to climb Mount Kinabalu. The service is top notch, very clear explanations and also a very detailed description of what you will be doing during the day. Everything arranged down to the last detail, from pick-up at your hotel to drop-off at your next accommodation.Tour guide Didi is also a legend, a very chill guy who let us set the pace and helped us where necessary.

We did the Mount Kinabalu (Walk the torque) track with Remarkable Borneo. The mountain was amazing and the trip was very unique. Transport and accommodation were good.However, I am only able to give 3 starts, as the food at the Pendant Hut (accommodation where we stayed) was really awful. I understand that all food need to be carried up by porters, but still the food that you get just before you start the hike (supper) and second breakfast was the worst breakfast we ever had (egg which was almost green/black as it was very over cooked, chemical-tasting pink sausage, old dry white bread..). As you pay such a high price for the tour (highest price I ever payed for a hiking tour) this should be much much better. I still don’t understand why the price for the tour is so excessively high (3000MYR = €600)..Lastly, the guide could have been more informative about the region, flora and fauna. He didn’t tell us anything unfortunately.

Booked a 2D1N climb with Remarkable Borneo Travel & Tours for 2 pax, everything went smoothly and well. Communicated with one of their team member, Suzy. She’s very professional and friendly. Responsive and ready to help whenever needed. Our guide Dave, is helpful as well. He took care of us and ensure that we reach the summit safely! Will definitely recommend them!

We booked the mount Kinabalu climbing package 3D2N- all the process was excellent from booking…picked up from the airport to kinabalu park.. hotel was EXCELLENT ..personalised person at each point..Good communication and really quick to respond to GET some help..(Tqvm to Maria,Suzi,Fikri,Oliver,the drivers and all the person involved)Guide( Jas/Asneh)was very helpfulNon- climber tour was good as wellWe successfully reached the peak!!recommended..100%

We booked 2D1N for Mt. Kinabalu climb with Remarkable Borneo and we had a really amazing time! All staffs are very nice and supportive through out the whole process. They respond very quickly to inquiries and attentive to our needs. No issues in the reservation at all. The driver who picked us up was right on the schedule and friendly.Our mountain guide was professional and patient. He was highly supportive and ask if we still doing okay during the whole climb. He helped me a lot and encouraged us to reach the summit eventually (and took great photos!).10/10 would recommend ☺️

Our trip to KK was not planned at length due to work, but thankfully the agency has a variety of options ranging from daily trips to large projects like the Kinabalu summit. Although we regret not opting for the summit climb due to our limited planning time, the daily trips we chose were rewarding and well-suited to our availability. The agents were incredibly supportive, providing assistance from our initial inquiries about the trips right through to their execution.As KK offers the dual experience of sun-soaked maritime adventures and treks through lush mountainous terrain, I think the agency played these cards well and provided both experiences smoothly, on schedule, and followed up on the agreed arrangements. They outsourced the maritime activities to another company, and I believe RemarkableBorneo chose wisely to partner with a professional and equally helpful agency. Overall, our experience with RemarkableBorneo was very positive, and we wish them continued success. Cheers.
